Who We are
We are an agro based initiative, focused on tree planting (reforestation), livestock and food production in an integrated system. We are based in Vermont USA, and Kamuli, East central Uganda. Kamuli is one of the most highly deforested districts in Uganda to meet demand for charcoal, Lumber, wood and plantation agriculture especially sugarcane.
Vision
To be the leading model farm in sustainable integrated agroforestry for food, Lumber, energy and economic security; and environment conservation in Uganda.
Goal
Establish and maintain a self-sustaining model agroforestry farmstead with over 100,000 for various purposes, 2000 hybrid goats, 100 high yield cows, over 30 acres of high value fruit and vegetables by 2029.
Mission
Using the Trees, bees, and food model, we aim to restore degraded land, create an enabling environment for sustainable tree, livestock and food crop production to ehance sustainable food, energy and economic security while contributing to environment conservation.
